About a month ago, while taking the bus home from np, i heard 'uptown girl' by westlife from TVmobile. so naturally i turn and see. lucky for me, it was the advertisement for their concert in singapore! the advertisement was something like this - the world's biggest boyband... sold 35million copies of album worldwide... catch them on their one night concert on the 8th of september at the indoor stadium... tickets on sale now at sistic...
I was very excited. i'm not sure if i had heard the advertisement correctly because it's quite sudden. they haven't visited singapore for almost 5 years. then but it should be correct. so message valencia on the spot to tell her the good news. less than 1 minute, she replied her prelims is on the 11th of september but she want to go. constantly checking her handphone? haha. i want to go too! I'm sooo happy and i told her i will go to sistic web to check and confirm once i reach home. lol, think i got home the fastest that day. I was running..
When i reached home, i quickly turn on the computer and go to sistic web to check. there were many links on the home page and one of them caught my eye instantly. 'westlife face to face concert'. noted down the date, time, venue, price, and the best seat available then called valencia. haha. can tell from her voice that she is as excited as me. so happy that she like westlife as much as i do. er, she can only confirm with me the next day because she was in school then and had to tell her parents first. lol, i'm impatient to buy the tickets but never mind. The best seat available was row 11 seat 4 and 5 and i haven't remove my socks sia.
I got up around 11+ the next morning and check my phone. -_-" valencia did not message or call me. was nervous to find out her answer so quickly called her and she say she can go! lol. so happy! told her i will buy the tickets later in the afternoon when i meet yt. the best seat available then was row 12 seat 3 and 4. for me, the tickets are selling quite fast. less than a day's time and the best seat available was 1 row back! arrgh..
Anyway, met yt and we rushed to j8. it was 3.11pm when i bought two tickets for the premier row and oh gosh, the best seat available was row 13 seat 3 and 4! but its kind of expected. Anyway, the lady told me it's somewhere in the center. so i guess it's ok. cost 244 bucks for the two tickets but it's worth it. lol, that day was yt's birthday - 9th Aug which is national day! what a easy date to remember. called valencia again to tell her i have bought the tickets. haha, can't wait for the concert!
